How to Use TrachyCalm:
- Prime the pump prior to first use.
- Insert one of the biodegradable straws into the nozzle of the bottle.
- Apply several pumps of lubricant to the endotracheal tube and spread evenly using the side of the straw or a gloved finger.
Post-operative Use:
Insert the straw into the oral cavity and apply two pumps at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions prior to ET tube removal.
- Remove the straw from bottle after use and dispose of it in normal waste.
